IHW Interleaved High-speed Winder

The IHW is a high-speed interleaved bag winder developed especially for bags on roll. Before winding, the individual bags are separated and then wound so that each bag overlaps the previous one. This allows the end user to pull out individual bags without having to tear them apart.

The IHW can run in 1 or 2 lanes and can be configured with Roll-o-Matic Delta bag-making lines for a variety of interleaved bag types. Bottom-sealed, star-sealed, wave-top and T-shirt bags can be produced in 2 lanes, while draw tape bags are produced in 1 lane.

In addition to interleaved winding, the IHW can also produce conventional perforated bags on roll, providing flexibility for different product requirements.

With film speeds up to 160 m/min and up to 22 roll changes per minute per lane, the IHW combines high-speed production with frequent automatic roll changes.
