FW Flat Sheet Winder

The FW Flat Sheet Winder is designed for production of folded film products supplied in flat packs, primarily garden covers, dust sheets and drop cloths. The film is folded and wound into a loose roll before being pressed flat to create the finished pack.

The FW can handle thin-, medium- and heavy-gauge film and can be configured with folding equipment to match different product requirements. It can run in-line with an extruder or out-of-line with an unwinder.

In addition to garden covers and dust sheets, the FW can be used for other folded film products supplied in flat packs, such as table covers.

Web cutting is done in stop position, providing a clean, right-angle cut even when processing heavy-gauge film.
