HMW 750

The HMW 750 is a fully automatic high-speed winder for bags and film with a maximum winding width of 750 mm. It is suitable for conventional winding as well as specialized applications requiring bags to be delivered in a specific orientation for downstream automation.

For seal-off-first (SOF) applications, the bags enter the roll with the open end first. During winding, the process prevents air from being trapped inside the bags without the need for holes. When the finished roll is unwound, the bags are delivered with the sealed bottom first, positioning them correctly for automatic insertion into boxes or other downstream processes.

The HMW 750 features automatic core loading and roll change. For conventional winding, no tape, glue or other fixation of the bags or film to the core is required. For SOF applications requiring the last bag to remain attached at the end of the roll, the bag can be attached without adhesive contaminating the paper core, allowing the core to be reused.

With a maximum film speed of 220 m/min, the HMW 750 combines high-speed production with the flexibility to handle both conventional and specialized winding applications.
