Meet David, our service technician for Latin America

To better support our increasing customer base in Latin America, we have already opened an office in Mexico City. Now we have also hired a skilled and experienced technician settled in Mexico. David Montellano already has a lot of experience with Roll-o-Matic’s equipment. Now he is part of the Roll-o-Matic service and support team and will help us provide fast and trustworthy support in Latin America.

David Montellano grew up in Mexico City and moved to Morelia to study Chemistry Engineering. But his fascination for machines would lead him another way. He got a job as supervisor in the plastic industry and was responsible for optimizing the production of plastic bags. With thoroughness and dedication, David achieved great results in minimizing waste and improving the quality of the end products.

David started at Roll-o-Matic in spring 2021 and came to Denmark to meet the rest of the team and receive training.

“It was a very nice experience”, he says. “Everyone was friendly and helpful, and I felt comfortable asking questions. I liked the work environment at Roll-o-Matic. Many of my colleagues are very skilled and experienced, but the atmosphere is very informal and relaxed. I even liked the cold weather”, he laughs.

“I am proud to be part of the Roll-o-Matic team. We make good machines – the only ones that can make good sealing in bio film, if you ask me. And we put efforts into building a good relationship with our customers. I will do what is in my power to learn what I need to learn as fast as possible, so I can contribute to give our customers a great service”, he adds.

“David is a great asset to the team”, says Birger Sørensen, CEO at Roll-o-Matic. “He is very skilled and hard-working, he has experience with our machinery, and he made a good impression on the rest of the staff. I can see, he already is well-liked both among his colleagues and among our customers. I am sure he will be a great contribution to our branch in Latin America, and that our customers will benefit from Spanish speaking help in their own time zone”, he concludes.
